Do your research
Be prepared
Always be well prepared before going to a job interview. Proof read your CV and re-read the job advert just before the interview. Look at the company website or obtain literature. You may be asked about the salary you’re after so make sure you research that as well.
Walking into an interview and not being well informed as to what the company does is a common but silly mistake. You can expect to be asked the following questions
- What do you know about our Company?
- Why do you want to work for our Company?
- What interests you about our product/service?
If you haven’t prepared answers for questions the questions above, then your interview is not likely to last very long. Avoid waffling in interviews as this shows poor preparation and lack of company research. Feed Interviewers the opportunity to talk proudly about something positive you have found.
